Summer Has Arrived

Summer is finally here. It is great to see the plants growing and blooming, bees and butterflies flying about, and the birds visiting the feeders.

New blooms showing up include:

A few new additions were put in over the past week.

Cuphea viscosissima – Blue Waxweed

Symphyotrichum oblongifollum – Aromatic Aster

Oenothera perennis – Small Sundrops

Symphyotrichum lateriflorum – Calico Aster

Achilea millefolium – Yarrow

I expanded the bed to accommodate the new plants.
